timer class : OneShot() method

Description

Executes the timer handler only once.

Syntax

timerInstance.OneShot()

Arguments

None

Return value

None

Sample code

Suppose you have the following class definition.

class handle

2:

...

open fitter handle()

4:

// any initialization code...

endfitter

open method void timerHandler(timer t)

8:

// any handling code....

endclass

Usage of the OneShot() method is as follows.

1:

handle h = new handle();

2:

timer t = new timer(h,"timerHandler(timer)", 1000);

3:

t.OneShot(); // Executes the timer handler only once after 1000 milliseconds.

Notes

If a timer handler is already started, re-call of this method will be ignored.
